Minoan is a free, all in one purchasing platform that allows hosts, property managers, and STR designers to purchase furnishings, electronics, appliances, linens, towels, mattresses, amenities, consumables, and more, at discounted prices from hundreds of top brands. Minoan also handles tracking and returns for products purchased through them.
Hosts can also be provided a QR code to display in their property so guests can purchase items they enjoyed using or experiencing during their stay. Hosts earn a commission on anything their guests purchase through the QR code.

Features
What Placing an Order Through Minoan Looks Like
1. Create a Minoan Account.
2. Search among any of Minoan’s partner brands for products you’d like to purchase.
3. Build your Minoan cart: Gather information about each specific product you want from the brand’s website. This is simplified by using the Chrome Extension or having two browser windows open simultaneously: 1 with the Minoan website and 1 with the brand’s site.
4. Complete the quote request form on the Minoan site.
5. Submit the quote request to Minoan and await a reply. This usually takes no more than 2-5 hours.
6. Receive an email with your quote.
7. Accept the quote and finalize the purchase OR revise your quote cart and ask for an updated quote.
8. Finalize your purchase.
9. Track all your purchases in your Minoan cart until everything is delivered.

- Purchasing through Minoan is not as fast as going straight to the company and making a purchase directly. You exchange speed and for a discount.
- It can take a couple of times through the process before you create an easy system to gather the information about each product you want to purchase for the quote form.

Pros
Prices were great on everything! Minoan’s prices for Wayfair were even cheaper than Wayfair’s business pricing. Top notch customer service when I wanted detailed information about mattresses. Shoppable experience to offer guests and receive a commission.
Cons
Credit cards come with a hefty fee. You can use ACH payments for only a small fee. If anything needs to be changed on a quote, the entire quote must be updated which can delay the order by a few hours.
